Bobby’s Late Night
Bobby stayed up pretty late last night – past midnight! He stayed up to watch a football game for his fantasy football team. Afterwards, he watched Family Matters, and he doesn’t know how he could have been entertained all those years ago! It seems to be stupid now! Bobby went to bed upset and even woke up upset! There, there, Bobby.

LB’s Email
Lunchbox sent Bobby an email last night about Amazing Race that seemed so gooberish! He even used “u” for the word “you”! Bobby knew the spoilers, but LB refused to be spoiled and was nervous the entire time – especially for Kelly and Christy, some locals that got onto the show! -More than four years after saying "I do", Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony secretly renewed their vows in Las Vegas early Sunday morning. They were joined by New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran and his wife Jessica. Both couples renewed their vows at Caesars Palace's Forum Tower Penthouse at 3:15 a.m...after a night at Pure Nightclub. "It was totally a spur of the moment thing," a source said. "They decided around 12:30 in the morning that they wanted to do it and started calling for ministers."

-Three weeks after being aboard a devastating plane crash that killed four people, Travis Barker has a simple message for his fans: "Thank you." The former Blink-182 drummer posted a message Saturday evening on his MySpace blog thanking his supporters and paying tribute to his friends that died. He also posted an update on his own condition, which were accompanied by a series of photos of him in the hospital. We have some pics up on the front page of our website. Travis gave a shout-out to his doctors and to the hospital staff, whom he says are "all bomb!" Despite Shanna Moakler’s gushing blog posts, Travis wants you to know his ex-wife hasn’t been by his side. “Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I’ve been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and in Georgia.”

-If you were thinking of dressing up like Sarah Palin for Halloween, Lindsay Lohan has already beaten you to the punch...and Samantha Ronson will reportedly dress up as Palin’s husband Todd.

Body of Lies
Bobby shared how the film, Body of Lies, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, spent about $150 million producing and marketing the film and it only made $13 million its opening weekend! This most likely means that the movie won’t get its money back! Amy said that Fireproof, the Christian Kirk Cameron movie, will actually make more money the longer its out! Amy is very adamant about this movie, especially since she heard that Kirk Cameron didn’t get paid and neither did the workers! An email came in and said that Kirk didn’t get paid upfront, but he will get paid depending on how well the movie does!

BBS News Stories
-Gas prices have gone down a ton this past weekend! Apparently the leaders of the major oil-source countries have gotten together and are trying to plan how to keep oil prices from going down! Everyone on the show hopes that they don’t succeed and gas prices keep going down!

-Bobby found an article online that said that humans have already found their genetic “utopia” and are no longer evolving! Apparently we don’t need to evolve anymore, and we might even regress!

Best of Times, Worst of Times

Bobby – He watched so much football this weekend, that he felt ill and didn’t even feel like going out! On Saturday he watched 12 hours of football, and on Sunday he felt so lazy that he just watched more TV! He never left the couch! He even ordered some take out and he ordered so much food, that the cashier wished him and his significant other a good night! Bobby felt too bad to correct her, so he just thanked her and left!

Amy – She got together with some of her neighbors and had a cook-out! She also went to a new sushi restaurant within walking distance of her house and walked there to pick up some to-go! It was very exciting!

Lunchbox – LB also watched football games and spent the weekend relaxing and maintaining his fantasy football team! His team is ahead of everyone’s teams now, and hopefully it stays that way!

The Happening
Bobby ordered the new M. Night Shyamalan movie On Demand last night, and he thought it was pretty good! The movie also included a life lesson, which was unexpected! However Carlos didn’t like it or get the life lesson! He says it started off well, but it just went downhill from there! Bobby says since it’s only an hour and a half long you should go see it!

Going to the Movies Alone

The subject of going to the movies by yourself came up, and Bobby and Amy have both gone and seen a movie in a theatre by themselves! Amy even went one time and the cashier assumed that she was with someone else when Amy bought her ticket. When Amy corrected her, the cashier was so surprised, she even exclaimed, “Oh! You’re by yourself?!” Awkward... LB says it’s okay to go to movies by yourself, but not on a Friday or Saturday night! Carlos suggested whenever you go alone, you should blend in with a group of people and pretend to be with them!

45 Pizza Slices in 10 Minutes

-Bobby was eating a bowl of cereal yesterday and his friends called him to meet for lunch. At the lunch, Bobby only ate about half his lunch since his bowl of cereal filled him up! Compared to Joey Chestnut, Bobby is weak! Chestnut broke the Famiglia Pizza eating record by eating 45 slices of pizza in ten minutes at Times Square in New York! Chestnut is also the World’s Hot Dog Eating Championship and probably has about $500,000 in the bank from competitive eating! Crazy! A lot of competitive eaters aren’t even overweight due to a layer of fat restricting the stomach and not allowing the stomach to stretch as much!

-LB is now considering going into competitive eating since he’s skinny and can eat a ton! However, LB’s weakness is that he can’t eat quickly! Bobby thinks of LB trained and honed his skills, he might have a future in competitive eating! Watch out Joey Chestnut!

Hollywood Skinny 7:15 & 9:15

-Forbes did some math and discovered Angelina Jolie has the face that makes us want to waste a little cash on magazines. She has graced more than 30 covers over the past year and sales jumped every time. Jennifer Aniston, who comes in second, was the number one seller in 2007. Heath Ledger is the number three on the best-selling celebrity list for this year. Who don’t we like? Britney Spears. Britney landed more covers over the past year than Angelina, but her “likeability” rating is very low. Britney’s not at the bottom of the list, however, that place belongs to Miley Cyrus! While she’s a household name for the younger set, kids don’t usually buy magazines.

-If you happened to click past ABC’s “20/20” Friday night you would have been treated to a new video from Britney Spears! We have it up on the front page of our website. Former Calvin Klein underwear model Brandon Stoughton is in the video – we have a picture of him up too. FYI: she’s lost a total of 25 pounds over the last several months...she’s losing about two pounds a week.

-It must be a slow week. Star magazine is again claiming poor little Jennifer Aniston will never find love because she’s crazy when it comes to men. Sources tell the magazine Jennifer scares men off with her unrealistic expectations. Apparently, Jen measures every guy against her marriage to Brad Pitt and she’s set her standards so high no one can live up to them.

-For the second week in a row, Beverly Hills Chihuahua was the #1 movie at the U.S. box office. It brought in another $17.5 million. Its 10-day total is at $52 million! Newcomer Quarantine got the #2 spot with $14.2 million in ticket sales. And, to round out the top three, Leo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe's CIA drama Body of Lies debuted with $13.1 million. Body of Lies now rivals “Speed Racer” for the title of “Biggest Trainwreck of the Year.” Russle gained 50 pounds for the part – now he’s got to spend the next 3 months in the gym taking it off.  An insider said “the problem with the movie isn’t the script. It’s the actors...Russell Crowe is a jerk and Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t hot anymore.” The public is bored with them and moved on to stars like Shia LaBeouf, Seth Rogan and other new stars.

After the skinny, Bobby shared that he’s been feeling very sad for Christina Applegate lately, especially after seeing a new preview for her show, Samantha Who. In case you haven’t heard, Christina’s ex-boyfriend recently died of a drug overdose and then she had a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer! In a recent appearance on Oprah she said she had stretchers to stretch out her skin and prepare her body for breast implants. Even though her life hasn’t been great recently, Christina has been keeping upbeat and everyone hopes she is in the clear!

Weather Man Proposes to News Girl Live

A weather man proposed to his girlfriend who is a news anchor live on the news! The guy works at another TV station, but set it up so he recorded a clip to play over the normal sports cast! He then came up to the girl live and brought out the ring to propose! The girl accepted and even cried! Check out the clip on the front page of the site!

John McCain Assures Woman Obama isn’t an Arab

John McCain recently was at a rally and took the microphone away from a woman who said she couldn’t trust Obama because he’s an Arab! John McCain assured her that he wasn’t an Arab and even a “decent man”! Everyone thought this was pretty crazy!

Sarah Palin Booed at Hockey Game
-Sarah Palin didn’t have a good weekend either! She was a Philadelphia Flyers game and the crowd booed her! The arena kept playing the music louder to try to cover up the booing, but it didn’t help! At the NHL website, they even took out the booing! Amy thought this was extremely rude and no one should be booed!

-Listen to the podcast for not only this clip, but also for a clip of a new Sarah Palin remix! Someone brought a ton of audio clips of Sarah Palin and quotes about Sarah Palin and put them to a dance beat!

Girls and Football

-Bobby, LB, and Carlos went to a restaurant to watch a football game, and a guy and his girlfriend were also there and the girl went crazy the entire game! She even started cussing really loudly when a team missed a 2-yard pass, which is not that big of a deal! LB said if that were his girlfriend, he’d leave the restaurant or break up with her because he’d be so embarrassed! Bobby agreed that he’d be tempted to break up with her or at least reprimand her afterwards, just like he would want to be reprimanded if he acted embarrassing! The couple was also annoying because the boyfriend left to smoke every 10 minutes and made Carlos move his chair so he could go out! It just wasn’t a very good time!

-Bobby advised people to just blend in when they’re watching football in public! Don’t embarrass your friends by being too loud!

Thirteen Year Old Dies for 15 Minutes and Comes Back to Life

A thirteen year old athlete has been deemed a miracle after he had flat-lined for fifteen minutes and then regained consciousness! Bobby thinks stories like this where people die for a long period of time, that the people didn’t really die, but just have a very low pulse that can’t be detected! LB and Amy don’t think so, and believe this truly is a miracle!

-Hundreds of absentee voters in New York have been sent ballots to vote for “John McCain” or “Barack Osama”! Everyone thought it was really weird how they don’t do spell check on things like that!

- Get excited – the Jonas Brothers are playing at the half time show for the Thanksgiving football game! OMG! Bobby thinks they aren’t good live, but they’re a good band that girls go crazy for and cry when they see them!

“The Bridge”

San Francisco has recently put up stainless steel nets under the Golden Gate Bridge to prevent people from committing suicide and jumping off! Apparently jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge is a very popular way to commit suicide, and they even made a documentary about it called, “The Bridge” where they put a camera on the Golden Gate Bridge to catch people jumping off! Bobby recommended it to everyone, and said there is even a guy who jumps off and survives! LB said he will go to the video store and see if they have it later!

Amy’s Blog: On Friday Amy did an interview for the Intern Newscast! The interns interviewed her about her raps, and they asked her if she had a rap name! Amy didn’t have one, but she found a rap generator online, and her rap name is “Fat Thug!” She typed it in multiple times, and the name didn’t change!

LB’s Manblog: LB was out Saturday night, and he saw a guy filming in the street! So Lunch and his drunk friends kept jumping in front of his camera and yelling, “Bobby Bones Show! Bobby Bones Show!” The guy got mad and even went to another place, but LB and his friends followed him and kept doing it!

Bobby’s Blog: Bobby isn’t a very hairy guy, but recently hair around his belly button seems to be growing thicker! Bobby’s disgusted and doesn’t know what to do! Apparently guys get hairier when they get older, and he’s worried about ear hair! Bobby already shaves his chest, and now he’s going to shave around his belly button! However, Bobby only shaves as a reward for himself when he feels like he has been working out a lot, so maybe shaving around his belly button will have to wait!

Girls That Curse

A listener emailed and asked Bobby whether he would break up with a girl if she curses a lot. Bobby said he doesn’t mind it up to a point, but there should be a limit. LB and Carlos both wouldn’t mind a girl that curses a lot, and it could even be a turn-on!

Carlos Kicked out of Bar
Carlos was out with a group of friends, and one of his friends threw up on the bar and they got kicked out! His friend had been taking tequila shots all night, and then when he took one last shot, it came back up! The bouncer came up to them after that and told them they had to leave! Carlos said he doesn’t care, as long as he isn’t the one throwing up!

Body Age

Carlos went to a gym and got the age of his body! At first the measurements went normal (weight, height, etc), but afterwards they said his body age is 36 years old! Carlos was shocked! This was a big wake-up call for him, and he’s going to try to eat and work out better! LB did this as well and his body age is 25! LB is going to try to improve his fitness and try to push it down to 21!

Bank Robbery

A bank robber went to a bank and robbed it, and Bobby thought a bank robber finally did it right! The robber was seen having a fake beard, a blonde wig, and a huge cowboy hat on! Bobby thinks they might never catch him since he had a huge disguise on and you couldn’t see what he really looked like! Bobby was impressed since normally bank robbers usually just wear sunglasses and a baseball hat! LB said since it’s not his bank and it wasn’t his money, he doesn’t care if the robber never gets caught!

College Game Day

ESPN has an event every year that concentrates on all the top college football games, and one year LB went and held up a Bobby Bones Show sign in the background! Except... only the corner of the sign showed up! LB even went with an intern and he used to hook-up with interns! Now Bobby has a “No Hooking up with Interns” rule, but now LB just waits for the interns to be done with their internship and then he goes for them!

LB at a Wedding

-LB was a groomsmen at a wedding, and the wedding had a ton of drama! First, the wedding planner was horrible, and she didn’t know what was going on! Then the wedding decorator told everyone not to light candles during the wedding because the wedding flowers could catch on fire. After the wedding decorator leaves, the wedding planner decided to light the candles! Everything seemed to be okay during the ceremony, then after the maid of honor came down, someone yelled, “FIRE!” and all the wedding flowers had burst into flames! The groomsmen had to get fire extinguishers and put out the fire, and everything smelled of smoke while the ceremony continued!

-Afterwards, the wedding planner was supposed to save a table for the bridesmaids, and he forgot to do it! He also forgot to get the groomsmen boutonnieres for their tuxes, so the bride and groom got so frustrated, they fired him during the reception! At first the wedding planner was resistant, but the bride and groom told him to leave! They even cancelled the wedding planner’s check! Hopefully most wedding planners aren’t like that!

-A few listeners called in with their own wedding horror stories – one woman’s mom had a heart attack during her wedding, and another listener’s sister’s wedding dress caught on fire during the ceremony!

Guys Joked Magic Johnson faked AIDS
Bobby played a couple clips of radio disc jockeys joking on air that Magic Johnson faked AIDS. Johnson was really very upset about it! Bobby played a clip of Magic Johnson’s response as well as the DJs, and Bobby thinks they were clearly joking, but LB and Amy don’t think so! Gym Class Heroes
Gym Class Heroes came into the studio and performed their new song for us! A few people emailed in said they didn’t perform that well! Amy agreed that they were just okay, but the lead singer did say that he was having a bad day with his voice! Check out the podcast for this performance and let us know what you think!

Amazing Race’s Christy and Kelly

Local Amazing Race contestants Christy and Kelly called in to talk about the episode last night! Bobby asked whether the girls always put make-up on to look good on the show, and they said they mostly did, but sometimes they didn’t care! There was also recent drama on the Amazing Race because another team threw one of their sports bras over a cliff!  Even though it seems like not a big deal, Christy said that they didn’t have much room to pack and everything was important! They said they still hate the other team, even now! Check out the podcast for the rest of the interview!

Type A Girls
After the Amazing Race interview, everyone noticed how Christy seemed to dominate the entire interview and Kelly couldn’t get a word in! Bobby said he prefers these types of girls since he doesn’t talk that often and it would be awkward if the girl didn’t talk more! He also likes Type A girls to balance his own personality because he’s pretty shy when he’s not on the air.
